If you've spent the last couple of years quietly losing your mind over Fourth Wing and Iron Flame like the rest of us, you already know this is a big one. About the Book
Threshing Day is a collection of thirteen interconnected stories set inside the world Yarros built in Fourth Wing — the one where cadets at Basgiath War College don't just study to become dragon riders, they survive a ceremony called Threshing to earn the right. Not everyone walks away from Threshing Day. The ones who do get bonded to a dragon for life. This deluxe illustrated edition (sixteen original illustrations from artist Joe Requeza, in case you needed a reason to spring for the fancy hardcover — we see you) revisits that legendary day from thirteen different points of view, filling in corners of the world Fourth Wing fans have been begging for since book one.

This Week’s Pour
Dragons, fire, and a ceremony that thins the herd — there was only one direction to go with this pairing, and it's smoky. Our primary pour is the Cinder 2022 Syrah: bold, a little peppery, with that deep, smoky, dark-fruit thing going on that feels like standing too close to a bonfire on purpose. (Yes, we know 'Cinder' is just the winery's name, not an intentional dragonfire pun. We've chosen to ignore that and take full credit anyway — we regret nothing.)
Not drinking tonight? Go with the Meriwether Wild Abandon Cider — it may be pink, but it’s just as dramatic, no Threshing required.
Come Curl Up With It
Here's the good part: you don't have to wait for release day to talk about this one with people who get it, because we've already got something on the calendar.
