When is The Book Lounge opening?
We are officially open! We just launched our Beer and Wine service on 7/17 and are a 21+ only venue.

Where is The Book Lounge located?
We are located at 33 East Idaho Ave., Suite 120 in Meridian, Idaho, near Meridian City Hall. Find us easily via Google Maps

Is The Book Lounge for all ages?
Due to our licensed lounge status and commitment to a quiet, adult atmosphere, The Book Lounge is a 21 and over venue. A valid ID is required for entry.

What kind of drinks will you serve?
We will offer a curated selection of local craft beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages like sodas and mocktails. Our focus is on quality, local partnerships.

Will you serve food?
We will offer light snacks (pastries, popcorn, etc) and charcuterie-style "adult lunchables", but not a full kitchen menu. We encourage supporting our local food partners nearby! For book club reservations, you are allowed to bring your own food but no outside drinks allowed.

Can I reserve a table or lounge area?
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis in most of our lounge areas. For book clubs, we have a dedicated space that is available for reservations for $5/person unless the next month book pick is ordered through us. While reservations are not required, they are recommended to guarantee the space.

What kind of books does The Book Lounge sell?
Our inventory is carefully chosen, focusing on a robust selection of contemporary and classic fiction, including popular genres like literary fiction, romance, thrillers, fantasy, and historical fiction.

Will you hold Special Events?
Absolutely! We’re working on our calendar as we speak and are always open to event ideas!

Do you carry books on controversial topics?
We carry books across a wide spectrum of genres, perspectives, and voices. We do not remove, restrict, or refuse to stock titles based on their political, social, religious, or cultural viewpoints. Visit “Our Values” for more detail on our policies.
