We carry books across a wide spectrum of genres, perspectives, and voices. We do not remove, restrict, or refuse to stock titles based on their political, social, religious, or cultural viewpoints. Our curated selection reflects our belief that fiction — even when provocative or uncomfortable — has intrinsic value, and that our community is enriched by engaging with a variety of ideas and narratives.

The Book Lounge is a place where curiosity is celebrated. We welcome open, respectful conversation about books and ideas among our guests. While we are a 21+ venue and expect all guests to treat one another with courtesy, we do not police what you read, discuss, or think within our walls.

Our inventory is curated by our team with a focus on quality fiction — but we welcome customer recommendations and special orders. If a title isn't on our shelves, we encourage you to ask. We are not in the business of telling people which stories are worth reading.

Our events — including book clubs, author signings, and trivia nights — are open forums for literary discussion. Diverse and sometimes challenging books are a feature of our programming, not a bug. We believe the best book clubs are the ones where not everyone agrees.

We believe that it is our responsibility to respect the privacy of your choice of books, magazines, and other material. We will not sell information identifying your purchases to a third party without your permission or otherwise disclose it to anyone, including the government, on our own initiative.
