A Sneak Peek at What’s Coming: The Full Loyalty Program
We’re not launching the full program on day one — and we want to be honest about why. We’d rather spend our first months actually getting to know you: what you read, what you drink, which events pack the room. Then we’ll build something that actually fits.
But we can give you a sneak peek. The full program is called Word on the Shelf (yes, same as the newsletter — it’s all connected), with a bonus perk we’re calling The Rumor Mill. Once a month, a random loyalty member gets a surprise drop at checkout. A free drink, a mystery staff pick, a reserved cozy corner. No warning. Just a little magic on an ordinary Tuesday.
We’ll share more details as we get closer to launching the full program. But the most important thing to know right now? Founding members get the best start of anyone. And the only thing you have to do is sign up for the newsletter.
Why We’re Doing It This Way
We’ve all been the person who discovers a great local spot after all the buzz dies down. You find out about it from a friend, wander in six months late, and wish you’d known sooner. We don’t want that for The Book Lounge community. We’ll be opening at 33 East Idaho Ave., Suite 120 in downtown Meridian — right near Meridian City Hall. We’re stocking exclusively young adult to adult fiction across every genre, pouring local beer and wine, and filling our shelves with locally sourced goods from Treasure Valley makers and creatives.
