Craft Night: Card Making With The Stamping Zoo

We're adding a little crafty magic to the calendar, and we could not be more excited about it. On Wednesday, September 23rd from 6–8PM, The Book Lounge in Meridian, Idaho is hosting a Card Making Class with Lisa Hardin of The Stamping Zoo — and yes, there's a drink involved, because that's just how we do things around here.

What's the Deal

Lisa is an independent Stampin' Up demonstrator who's been building The Stamping Zoo's following one beautifully inked card at a time, and she's bringing that expertise straight to our living-room-away-from-home. Your $50 ticket gets you a seat, your first kit (pre-cut papers, stamps, and glue — all included, no supply run required), and your first beverage. Want to make a second card, or a third? Additional kits will be available for purchase, because apparently one perfect handmade card is never enough.

This one's 21+ — bring your ID — and spots are capped at 16, so this is very much a don't-sleep-on-it situation.

What to Sip While You Snip

Your ticket includes your first beverage, so make it count. We'd point you toward something cozy for a crafting night — a glass of Veer Chenin Blanc if you're in a sipping mood, or our seasonal Ginger Meriweather Cider cider if you want something that matches the fall energy of gluing tiny paper flowers onto cardstock. Not drinking? A Drip Coffee (we’ve got decaf!) or a mini pot of Morally Gray tea will do the job just as well while you work.
